Founded in 2009, Quora's mission is to share and grow the world's knowledge. We want to democratize access to knowledge of all kinds so if someone out there knows something, anyone else can learn it.
My role as part of the larger Recruiting team is to help Quora identify, attract and ultimately hire outstanding technical talent globally (Quora is now a remote-first company).
Prior to joining Quora, I spent 8 years in the technical recruitment space in Canada both on the agency and in-house sides, having the privilege to work with teams at companies like MLSE, The Globe and Mail, FedEx Canada, Jobber, Loopio, Achievers, Diply, 500px and MedStack among others, resulting in over 200 full-time tech hires.
Throughout my career, I have prioritized experimentation and learning, participating and often leading innovative recruitment projects leveraging technologies like Machine Learning and the Blockchain, as well as international tech hiring utilizing the Global Talent Stream program.
I am always open to connecting with other Recruiting/ TA professionals, love learning about the industry and always happy to help a fellow recruiter with advice or just help work through challenges (we all know there are plenty even for a seasoned recruiter).
